Our Write Away the Winter Blahs Workshops have evolved out of the Legacy Learning Boone River Valley weekend writing workshops. A group of writers continue to meet on an ongoing basis working together in the studio.

Jen Berte will be your patient and expert director for polishing your writing skills. She will help you realize your ideas. The group will meet via Zoom for the first time on April 12, 2022. Then, they will continue to meet one or two days a month on a day chosen by the group. You’ll be able to choose daytime or evening to attend: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm or 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Workshopping requires that you bring a piece of writing on which you particularly crave feedback and come ready to provide your opinion to others (please be mindful of the length as the time is limited). Jennifer Berte will organize and facilitate the sessions as well as provide professional critiques.

This group will participate in an ongoing Facebook club that can communicate outside of assigned sessions. Note: a minimum of three participants is required to hold a session.

A $15.00 class cost is per class, NOT for the day.
