This workshop will focus on learning about the tools you can use to create amazing heirlooms! Rusty has a wonderful way of talking about tools, explaining the use of each tool, and sharing their history. Discover the value of those tools passed on to you from your distant relative. Whether you are a newbie, or an experienced woodworker, you will enjoy this chance to hear and share stories centered around tools.

Rusty will demonstrate the various woodworking tools. He will show how each tool is used for creating certain outcomes, such as dovetail joints, and also pointing out design opportunities along the way. Come with a favorite tool and an idea of what you would love to build. Rusty will help you make a plan! Plus, he will show you how to sharpen tools, clean the rust off them, tell stories about each tool and process, and get you ready to begin an amazing journey. If there is enough interest, a 2 part workshop will be scheduled.
