This beginning quilting class consists of two-session on consecutive Saturdays. The Interlocking Rings pattern makes a striking quilt (48” x 60”) on either a light or dark background. It uses easy cutting (strips sub-cut into rectangles or squares), a forgiving “stich and flip” technique for angles, and straight line sewing. If you would like to safely observe the partial solar eclipse in Iowa then you are welcome to join us. We will be meeting in the grassy area between the Hamilton County Conservation Office and the Boone River Bike Trail to observe the eclipse. We do have a limited number of Certified Eclipse Viewing Safety Glasses so we may have to take turns and share....
