Come join the fun at the Ellsworth Extravaganza. A parade, eats and fun games for the kiddos will be some of the attractions. Don't miss out on the event which is only held on even years! New this year is a softball tournament. It will start the day before, run the day of and continue into the next day.

Free family fun at the Ellsworth Extravaganza in Ellsworth, Iowa. It all starts at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 25th and goes until the last firework fades. Children's Activities include games and contests. Good eats for supper include Turkey! The parade starts at 6:00 pm and Free Popcorn will be had during the concert. The night is topped off with fireworks.

The premier Kamrar Free Car Show event is jammed packed with beauties! Bring the family and enjoy all the different vehicles. Registration is from 9:00 am until Noon. Catch Atlatl fever by coming to learn how to throw a long dart at a deer target with an atlatl. The atlatl predated the bow and arrow and is still popular for recreation and hunting. This program is for all ages of people who are curious about the trying an ancient primitive hunting weapon.

One huge annual family friendly event centered on Watermelon! Join us for the parade at 10:30 am and stay for the rest of the day.  Since 1957, this has been a summer tradition in Stanhope, Iowa. Sculpt your favorite mythical creature out of clay! We will use the pinch pot and additive methods of clay hand-building. Unicorns, narwhals, yetis, dragons, gnomes are some of the creatures we can create. The possibilities are endless! All ages are welcome. It's Back! Art in the Park will have new sculptures, refreshments and Jive For Five. It will be held on Thursday, August 4th at the West Twin Park in Webster City, Iowa. It will begin at 5:00 pm. Bring the family and enjoy an outing!

Come and help clean up the garbage out of our Boone River. We will clean up 4.6 miles of the river from Riverside Park to the Briggs Woods Park.
